The CD executive’s main focus is to ensure the cohesiveness of the committee. The CD executive is responsible for planning team building activities during weekly committee meetings and with the help of the Director makes sure that the meeting runs smoothly. The CD executive plans spring and fall retreats for the committee.
In addition, the CD executive is responsible for filling all shifts during the conference and overseeing “shift swapping.” During the conference, the CD executive will continue his/her job by working to motivate the committee through the conference.
The CD executive will also be in charge of headquarters. The CD exec is responsible for planning the curriculum of the second semester meetings, and making sure the committee is well educated in regards to the ins and outs of the conference and SGA.
