The deadline for Workshop applications is February 8th.
Workshops are presentations made by participating schools to highlight a successful program that other universities might be interested in implementing on their campus. Not only do workshops allow presenters to emphasize the strengths of their student governments, but they also provide the opportunity for others to learn from these workshops. Workshops in the past have dealt with issues such as student involvement, integrating student governments with the internet, freshman involvement opportunities, and dealing with negative publicity from the school newspaper.
If selected to present a workshop, a $125.00 refund will be awarded to the participating school's total registration fee.
When you attend the conference, a minimum of 200 handouts are
required to provide to those in attendance of the workshop. These
handouts should include not only the information presented in the workshop
but also contact information for continued interaction after the conference.
Note: A Substitute W-9 is required to be submitted before your workshop application can be processed. Click here to download the form (PDF).
